Hi, I am Dr Sabine Blackmore

People, organisations and words are my passion.

It is important to me that people can live and work according to their goals, experiencing as little discrimination and as much awareness of gender and diversity as possible. This is what I am committed to and what shapes my work as a coach, trainer and Gestalt therapist.

Having worked at universities and universities of applied sciences for many years, I am familiar with their positive and negative sides of Higher Education. Power structures, lack of resources, pressure to perform and fixed-term contracts all lead to very different reactions in people.

I support people in shaping their own careers and lives, encouraging them to take responsibility for their own futures.

— My Background —

I hold a PhD in English Literatures and have an extensive background in English Studies as well as Modern German Literature. After completing my PhD, I discovered another important field in research institutions for myself: gender equality. These two areas — academia and gender equality — form the core of my professional experience and expertise as a coach and trainer.

I have also completed numerous trainings and further education courses in systemic, individual and team coaching. I am a Gestalt therapist and a certified non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy (HP Psych).
More information about this will be available on my Gestalt therapy website in autumn (link to be provided).
